Description
A rich man and poor people with children are contrasted.
Cultural Note
Pirosmani’s own poverty should not become a romantic legend. Childless Millionaire and the Poor with Children perfectly demonstrates inequality inside the painting. Many critics have commented on his sensitivity and understanding of class divisions and marginalized lives.
